About Liao Meihong Studio
Liao Meihong graduated from Northwest Light Industry Institute in 1983.
Across enterprises and academic institutions both in China and abroad, Liao Meihong has dedicated over forty years to teaching, technical management, and research in the ceramics industry.
In traditional glaze formulation and firing techniques, Liao Meihong has both preserved tradition and continuously innovated. In particular, Liao Meihong’s research on iron-red gold-ring glaze has reached a nationally leading level and earned a national invention patent. Every piece Liao Meihong creates is distinctive, one of a kind, and impossible to replicate.
Studio
The ceramic studio founded by Liao Meihong is located in Dehua County, Fujian Province, a region renowned as China’s Porcelain Capital for its deep ceramic heritage. Since its founding in 1985, Liao Meihong has worked here tirelessly.
