From December 17-19, the 2023 Annual Academic Conference of the Ceramics Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society was held in Dehua, Fujian, the international ceramics capital. Vice President Huang Jianfeng led a delegation of 11 faculty members from the School of Materials Science to attend. Representatives from our school presented reports including “Research on the Microstructure and Coloring Mechanism of Yaozhou Kiln Tianmu Glaze,” “Preparation and Regulation Mechanism of High-Saturation Amorphous Photonic Structural Color Glaze,” and “Preparation and Application of Far-Infrared Emitting Ceramic Materials,” and received the Outstanding Young Scholar Award in Silicate Materials. Our representatives gathered with experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from more than 30 universities and research institutions across the country to discuss the current state and future development trends of the ceramics industry and new technology applications, exchange cutting-edge innovations, and promote innovative development, cultural exchange, and industry-university-research cooperation in the ceramics sector.
