An orthogonal experimental method was used to examine how the silicon-aluminum ratio, iron oxide content, and bone-ash content affect the crystal-flower pattern on the glaze surface. The experimental results show that when the silicon-aluminum ratio is 7.5, the bone-ash content is 14%, and the iron oxide content is 13%, the glaze surface displays an artistically valuable art glaze with a tan-brown background color and large red crystal flowers.
